How to form a team?
To be eligible for the World Academic Sport Challenge, your team must have the proper number of school delegates for each of the events. To give you an idea of what this entails, last year's teams counted 15 to 30 students from each school or university, including the men's and women's football teams.
Each team must include at least 3 women.
Regular practice of track and field is not required. The Challenge is also intended to provide an introduction to track and field and help you discover the sport's various disciplines while developing team spirit between people of various backgrounds.
Each team must compete in all 10 events. Both men and women of any team may compete in the individual events. However, since the women's events generally have fewer participants, they may be advantageous for some.
There are considerable team penalties for being absent from an event, whereas taking last place in an event does not entail any penalties.
