"Students represent the future wealth of the group"
"GDF SUEZ is a 'young group" since it was the outcome of the merger between Gaz De France and Suez just over a year ago. One of the Group's major objectives is therefore to develop its image as an employer. GDF SUEZ needs graduate school students, whether managers or engineers, to be more aware of its business lines, and the best way to get this idea across is to have Group employees take part in events such as the Challenge. In their own words, they explain their business lines and activities as well as the related required skills.
GDF SUEZ was already a partner of the event last year. The first year was fantastic, so we didn't hesitate to come back this year. There's a genuine desire to diversify recruitment profiles and integrate a maximum of different talents within the company. In this respect, the fact that the Challenge is open to universities and students in other countries this year is wholly positive".
